Our team of world-class legal experts and technologists has built an intelligence platform that uncovers egregious violations across legal domains, such as privacy and data breaches, consumer protection, securities and financial fraud, environment, and employment. 

We are looking for a talented and proactive Senior Associate Counsel to support our go-to-market (GTM) teams. This role is essential to our commercial success, acting as the primary legal partner to our GTM teams and overseeing client-facing legal work, strategic long term deals, and our professional ethics compliance regime. Requirements
  • Law degree from a top-tier institution.
  • 10+ years of legal experience, ideally a mix of: Law firm training in commercial or corporate law & In-house counsel work supporting GTM, sales and compliance at a tech company.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage, negotiate, and close commercial deals with clients and partners.
  • Experience using CLM systems, legaltech platforms, and AI-powered tools to streamline legal work. 
  • Background in developing or owning compliance programs in heavily regulated environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder alignment and translating legal guidance for business teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing legal strategies and operational plans that align with business objectives.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a bias toward action.
  • Team-oriented, pragmatic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bar membership.
  • Work location: NYC office, hybrid model (3 days on site)

Responsibilities  
  • Serve as primary legal partner for GTM teams — building, strategizing and implementing our legal commercial arm.  
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with clients and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and risk tolerance.
  • Oversee legal aspects of contract implementation, ensuring obligations and timelines are met.
  • Provide strategic legal input on key strategic business initiatives and partnership structures.
  • Scale and own the company’s professional ethics regime, ensuring adherence across business operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement training and monitoring for ethics-related compliance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to proactively identify legal risks and implement creative solutions.
  • Translate legal advice into actionable, business-friendly guidance for client-facing teams.
  • Build and maintain scalable legal templates, playbooks, and workflows to streamline commercial contracting and GTM support.
