We are looking for an analytics Engineer to join our growing Data & Ops team. In this role, you will build the analytical infrastructure, datasets, and models that power the company’s performance visibility, forecasting capabilities, and operational excellence. You will enable teams to move faster, rely on accurate data, and make smarter decisions — all while contributing to a mission that impacts the lives of millions.

Responsibilities:   

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable BI datasets, data models, and automated pipelines that serve core business and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, product stakeholders, FP&A, and legal data teams to understand their needs and translate them into reliable, scalable analytical solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, system reliability, and smooth information flow across databases, BI models, and internal tools.
  • Develop efficient SQL logic, transformation layers, and automation scripts that support high-quality dashboards and performance monitoring.
  • Leverage AI tools and advanced prompting to enhance data enrichment, analytics automation, and stakeholder self-service capabilities.
  • Document data models, define BI standards, and continuously improve performance, stability, and usability of analytical infrastructure.
  • Stay up to date with modern analytical engineering practices, data modeling frameworks, and AI-driven analytics approaches to keep Darrow’s BI ecosystem scalable and cutting edge.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a BI Analyst / Analytics Engineer / BI Engineer, working with large-scale datasets and complex analytical environments- must.
  • Expert-level SQL (PostgreSQL AND Bigquery) with proven ability to design data models, optimize heavy queries, and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for high-volume workloads.
  • Strong analytical engineering skills, including building semantic layers, reusable metric logic, and BI data marts that support millions of records and near real-time analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for data transformations, automation scripts, and API integrations in production environments.
  • Proven experience delivering dashboards and analytical applications (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of data quality, governance, validation frameworks, and performance troubleshooting across the BI pipeline.
  • Experience working with AI-assisted enrichment and LLM-based automation, with the ability to integrate AI tools into analytical workflows when beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear, scalable data solutions.
  • High level of English.
